The Patient Care Specialist (“PCS”) is the welcoming face of Maui Grown Therapies. Duties and Responsibilities

The PCS closely interacts with patients in person at the Company’s dispensaries and virtually via telephone, email, chat, and streaming media. Additional duties include:

• Greeting patients in person or virtually; scheduling appointments; assisting with patient intake and 329 card renewal procedures.
• Responsible for conducting patient sales transactions accurately and timely. Maintains patient records in compliance with all applicable laws and Company policies
• Answers questions about Hawai’i medical cannabis laws and MGT from patients, prospective patients, and caregivers
• Maintains a working knowledge of the Department of Health’s 329 patient certification program
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of MGTs products and services
• Assists patients in assessing MGTs product and service options
• Shares aggregated patient reviews and latest research reports collated by MGT management and the Science and Medical Advisory Board (“SMA”) to assist patients in understanding how products may help them achieve their goals
• Establish and nurture relationships with past, current, and future patients
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned, such as online menu audits, e-commerce, and loyalty program revisions
• Offer suggestions to teammates that may improve service or product offerings centered on patient reports or concerns
• Rapidly troubleshoot and solve patient concerns at the point of sale
• Manage daily tasks to ensure operational standards are properly followed and completed

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

2-year post-secondary education in a related field preferred

Work Experience Required

2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced client-service intensive industry – hospitality and retail backgrounds preferred

Work history showing progressive responsibility, willingness to accept, lead, and complete additional projects or challenges

Required Knowledge

Computer & equipment operations necessary for running an office/retail center (POS systems; Word; Excel; office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems)

Overview of Position
Maui Wellness Group, LLC (“Company”) is a regulated enterprise supervised by the Hawai`i Department of Health (“HDOH”) and Department of Public Safety Narcotics Enforcement Division (“NED”). The Dispensary Manager (DM) ensures that all dispensary operations are in full compliance with the rules and regulations governing the Hawaiʻi Department of Health’s Medical Cannabis Dispensary Program and with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).  The DM oversees day-to- day operations, including, but not limited to: regulatory compliance, patient relations, security, inventory management, retail sales, cash processes, and sales reports under the direction of the Director of Finance and Administration. Maui Grown Therapies operates under the highest standards of professionalism and patient confidentiality. The successful candidate will be a lifelong learner with a desire to become a subject matter expert.

Duties and Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the DM include oversight of all current and future retail operations for Maui Grown Therapies.

The Dispensary Manager:

• Ensures a first rate patient experience in all aspects of every dispensary
• Provides leadership to ensure that retail operations are managed in a manner that supports the organization’s missionand brand
• Responsible for all retail operations including inventory management, merchandising, displays, patient experience, facility cleanliness inside and outside, and optimal staffing
• Executes and enforces compliance with all Hawaiʻi DOH rules and regulations governing the medical cannabis dispensary program and internal policies and procedures.
• Ensures dispensing procedures including verification of patient eligibility and purchase amounts are accurately entered into the state database as
• Is responsible for patient admissions, patient consultation, product dispensing, inventory management and controls, cash management and financial accounting for daily
• Responsible for vigilant adherence to the highest standards of patient confidentiality, including record keeping, report submissions, and interactions with regulatory and law enforcement
• Has responsibility for all dispensary personnel including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, setting performance metrics and incentives, discipline, and performance evaluation. Maintains high staff morale as measured by low turnover.
• Consistently delivers a superior level of customer service, both in person and on the phone; coaches staff on thecommitment to exemplary customer service
• Models professionalism and serves as a role model to dispensary staff during periods of stress and/or
• Diffuses difficult situations with diplomacy and ensure issues are resolved to customer’s satisfaction while upholdingcompany
• Charged with in-store marketing and promotions in coordination with the Director of Retail Operations.
• Responsible for overseeing and ensuring cash management procedures are being followed including transacting, opening, closing, depositing, reporting, maintaining and reconciling cash with the Point of Sale system andcompany
• Oversees in-store maintenance and management of approved vendors for repairs and service of HVAC, plumbing,technology and works closely with the Office Manager on immediate repairs.
• Proactively and regularly communicates with other managers in all departments to ensure safe, optimal dispensary operations and experience for patients and staff.
• Participates in at least one community engagement event each quarter and works as brand ambassador during andoutside of work

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

Overview of Position
Maui Wellness Group, LLC (“Company”) is a regulated enterprise supervised by the Hawai`i Department of Health (“HDOH”) and Department of Public Safety Narcotics Enforcement Division (“NED”). The Production Associate (“PA”) assists the Production Management Team (“PMT”) on an as-needed basis in the execution of day-to-day medical cannabis cultivation processing & manufacturing operations at the Company’s Kula. Production Centers (“KPC”).

Duties and Responsibilities

Assisting the PMT in the execution of day-to-day medical cannabis cultivation operations, on an as-needed basis. Specific duties include:
• Assisting with planting, pruning, harvesting, drying and post-harvest handling of dried biomass;
• Assisting with cleaning & maintenance of grow rooms & greenhouses in service, and of regularly scheduled cultivation cycles
• Other tasks as may be assigned by the PMT.

Assisting the PMT in the execution of day-to-day medical cannabis processing operations, on an as-needed basis. Specific duties include:
• Assisting with medical cannabis concentrate & infused product handling, filling & packaging;
• Assisting with the handling of medical cannabis biomass material, including but not limited to de-stemming, weighing, trimming & packing;
• Assisting with the preparation of medical cannabis pre-rolls;
• Ensuring stocks of solvent, glassware and other materials required to sustain uninterrupted secondary processing operations are consistently maintained;
• Cleaning and servicing the rotary evaporators, vacuum distillation systems and other equipment systems used for secondary processing;
• Cleaning and organizing laboratory glassware, stainless steel product handling implements, and other laboratory equipment;
• Regularly sweeping and mopping the secondary processing and final product formulation laboratories;
• Preparing & packing batches of medical cannabis-infused edible products;
• Other tasks as may be assigned by the PMT.

Assisting the PMT in the execution of regularly scheduled manufacturing tasks and protocols. Specific duties include:
• Assisting the manufacturing team with routine extraction and infused product preparation tasks;
• Organizing and preparing ingredients for use in the production of infused edible baked goods and infused gummies;
• Washing dishes and assisting with general organization and cleanliness in the manufacturing areas;
• Organizing batches of inventory designated for extraction;
• Bucking and milling biomass in preparation for extraction;
• Packing & evacuating CO2E vessels;
• Executing service cycles and other routine extraction system maintenance protocols;
• Regularly cleaning and organizing the CO2E room to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and equipment operating conditions are maintained;
• Logging inventory tracking data and extraction yields;
• Other tasks as may be assigned by the PMT.

Qualifications

Overview of Position

The Production Assistant is a flexible multifunctional position that requires work across production areas including Cultivation, Processing, Packaging, and Extraction. The successful candidate will possess a keen attention to detail and record keeping, and a willingness to continually learn more about the subject. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn and grow with the Company from the ground up, and to take on increasing levels of responsibility over time.

Duties and Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Production Assistant may include anything from general cultivation work, IPM, processing activities, product packaging, and/or extraction and formulation. Some examples of duties may include:

• Assists in harvesting, processing, and packaging finished medicine
• Keeps accurate records on each plant using Company system and protocols
• Records and tracks accurate weights and measurements of products throughout the processing and packaging procedures using company systems and protocols
• Maintains a clean, safe environment inside the processing area
• Inspects the cannabis for defects using a variety of magnification tools
• Calibrates, operates, cleans, and stores packaging equipment including heat sealers, etc.

Overview of Position

Maui Wellness Group, LLC (“Company”) is a regulated enterprise supervised by the Hawai`i Department of Health (“HDOH”) and Department of Public Safety Narcotics Enforcement Division (“NED”).  This position is subject to strict regulatory compliance and government oversight.

The Operations & Maintenance Technician (OMT) provides the Company with a knowledgeable, multi-skilled teammate to ensure safe, continuous, high-performance operations of the Company’s electrical, mechanical, and environmental equipment and systems. The OMT’s primary work location is the Company’s Kula Production Center (KPC) with travel to Company’s retail locations, as needed.

Operations & Maintenance Responsibilities

The OMT bears direct responsibility for the execution of all O&M activities at KPC in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards and the instructions in the KPC O&M Manual as amended periodically by the KPC General Contractor, Maui Builders, Inc (MBI).

General duties include, but are not limited to:

• Maintenance and upkeep work specified in the Company’s Solar Energy Services Agreements (SESA), including but not limited to solar array cleaning and grounds upkeep; generator set upkeep & rust inhibition; PV inverter cleaning; and the general maintenance of a clean, safe and well organized electrical, mechanical & environmental infrastructure in and around the KPC facility
• Determines O&M work procedures; prepares time, cost, and material estimates in collaboration with purchasing agent on an as needed basis
• Carries out HVAC Systems O&M, including servicing mini-splits, central AC system, and ventilation systems; inspects, cleans, and replaces HEPA filters, as needed
  • Carries out Hydrology System O&M, including servicing condensate water filters & drains, cleaning & maintaining greenhouse drainage systems
  • Performs semi-skilled trades work, including painting, vinyl flooring installation and repair, and basic carpentry
  • Assists as needed in composting operations
  • Carries out regular perimeter fencing and compost area fencing O&M
  • Carries out regular maintenance of the KPC access road to ensure standards required by the Maui Fire Department (MFD) and the Maui Police Department (MPD) are maintained
  • Carries out roadway sprinkler system, parking lot & dust management system O&M
  • Carries out regular O&M of greenhouse fans, belts, lighting bars, tables, electrical cords, etc
  • Recommends and implements preventative measures relating to external lighting, landscaping, and other general systems throughout the facility

Overview of Position:

Maui Wellness Group, LLC (“Company”) is a regulated enterprise supervised by the Hawai`i Department of Health (“HDOH”) and Department of Public Safety Narcotics Enforcement Division (“NED”). This position is subject to strict regulatory compliance and government oversight.

Working alongside an experienced and committed team of medical cannabis growers, processors & lab technicians, the Edibles Baking Specialist (EBS) serves as the principal production team member responsible for preparation of the Company’s diverse and growing line of premium cannabinoid-infused baked goods.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Mixing & Portioning

• Using Company-issued protocols and with recipe & other preparative guidance from the Director of Product Development (DPD),
  ▪ Mixes bulk batches of infused batter (i.e. cookie, brownie, bar, etc);
  ▪ Apportions doses from bulk batter batches to precise specifications;
  ▪ Arrays apportioned doses on baking trays for subsequent baking;
  ▪ In collaboration with other production line managers, ensures ingredients and other supply inputs are properly stocked at all times;
  ▪ Regularly tracks, updates & reconciles inventories of baked good inputs, bulk batters, raw apportioned doses, and finished baked doses;
  ▪ Regularly executes dose precision & quality control checks at each stage of the baked good preparation process;
  ▪ Using company-formulated Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) protocols & forms, regularly carries out and documents batch production work in compliance with applicable state regulations;
  ▪ Maintains organized, hygienic & tidy baking workstations and equipment at all times;
  ▪ On an as needed basis, reviews and/or develops new recipes for possible bulk production and inclusion on the Company’s menus;
  ▪ Upon request, reviews Company baking protocols and makes recommendations for improved process efficiency & product quality; subject to approval from DPD, implements such protocols;
  ▪ Other tasks as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Work Experience Required

• Minimum 5+ years commercial baking experience;
• Applicants must provide professional references from past commercial baking work
• Informal/non-commercial baking experience will not suffice in lieu of commercial baking experience
• Past experience working with cannabis-infused edibles is not required
• Prior experience operating commercial-scale mixing & baking equipment in a fast-paced, precision-oriented commercial kitchen;
