Overview of Position
The Patient Care Specialist (“PCS”) is the welcoming face of Maui Grown Therapies. PCS team members build trust with MGT patients by knowledgably meeting their product needs with compassion and integrity. Duties and Responsibilities
The PCS closely interacts with patients in person at the Company’s dispensaries and virtually via telephone, email, chat and streaming media. Additional duties include:
Greeting patients in person or virtually; scheduling appointments; assisting with patient intake and 329 card renewal procedures
Responsible for conducting patient sales transactions accurately and timely
Maintains patient records in compliance with all applicable laws and Company policies
Answers questions about Hawai`I medical cannabis laws and MGT from patients, prospective patients, and caregivers
Maintains a working knowledge of the Department of Health’s 329 patient certification program
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of MGTs products and services
Assists patients in assessing MGTs product and service options
Shares aggregated patient reviews and latest research reports collated by MGT management and the Science and Medical Advisory Board (“SMA”) to assist patients in understanding how products may help them achieve their goals
Establish and nurture relationships with past, current, and future patients

Rapidly troubleshoot and solve patient concerns at the point of sale

Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent

Overview of Position
The Cultivation Assistant provides the daily care and focused attention necessary to produce medical cannabis of the highest quality for our patients. The successful candidate will possess a passion for controlled environment agriculture and a willingness to continually learn more about the subject. This entry level position offers the opportunity to learn and grow with the company from the ground up, and to take on increasing levels of responsibility over time.
Duties and Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Cultivation Assistant include all aspects of the daily care of medical cannabis plants from propagation to harvest; managing environmental variables to ensure optimal plant health and maximize products of medicinal compounds; and maintaining stringent standards of cleanliness, sanitation and overall biosecurity in and around the cultivation areas of the Maui Grown Therapies Production Centers.
Crop care
Implements daily feeding & care schedule as directed by the Director of Production
Maintains consistency, uniformity and accuracy when performing crop care at all stages of growth
Conducts routine visual inspection of plants to ensure early identification and correction of nutrient deficiencies or pest problems and reports findings to the Director of Production
Manages crop propagation to meet inventory requirements as directed by Director of Production
Data Logging
Maintains accurate records of reservoirs, equipment and other crop related logs assigned by Director of Production
Accurately scan inventory into designated location(s)
Facility and equipment maintenance
o Calibrates, cleans and stores pH/PPM meters
Maintains and ensures proper storage of all tools and equipment, including but not limited to: shop vacs, pumps, hoses, carts, scissors, loppers, stools, gloves, rags, and safety
Cleans/sanitizes pots to ensure that to ensure continuous availability for repotting
o Completes daily and periodic cleaning tasks as assigned. Daily cleaning consists of: sweeping and spot mopping all areas on the cultivation floor, common bathroom, break room, and loading area
o Ensures proper disposal of non-plant waste at the end of each day
Miscellaneous
Assists in completing other secondary cultivation tasks at the direction of the Director of Production according to company needs
Follows all aspects of the workplace safety program, biosecurity program, and compliance with all rules and regulations

Overview of Position
Maui Wellness Group, LLC (“Company”) is a regulated enterprise supervised by the Hawai’i Department of Health (“HDOH”) and Department of Public Safety Narcotics Enforcement Division (“NED”).
The POM is responsible for the management of the Processing Department’s personnel, systems, and product components to ensure the uninterrupted supply of goods to the Company’s retail outlets. Experience with productivity tools, safety measures, and quality control systems are essential for the successful candidate. Daily tasks include overseeing the ordering of supplies, scheduling manufacturing, testing, processing (trimming, packing, labeling), and preparing for the dispatch of the final goods to retail locations.
Primary Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Inventory Control
- Work with colleagues in retail operations, manufacturing, administration, and finance to ensure supplies are ordered in timely manner and in optimal quantities
- Use the Company’s forecasting models and tracking metrics to ensure proper stock of final packed goods
- Ensure all critical product components are in stock for thorough and efficient product assembly (i.e. packaging, machine parts, etc.)
- Ensure that shipments of supplies are properly received and stored (i.e. all shipments received are carefully reviewed to reduce and eliminate chances of inventory loss)
- Implement and oversee physical inventory control measures, subject to CFO review and approval
- Optimize and secure storage areas
- Find the right balance between inventory costs and benefits of stock on hand (PARs)
- Match allocation of the department’s resources with the Company’s priority objectives and supporting plans
- Work for process optimization to ensure software is working to its full potential and eliminate errors
- Conduct periodic data integrity audits to ensure inventory data is accurate
- Track and report weekly processing metrics

- Manage the testing calendar of bulk goods (dried flower and manufactured goods) to ensure an uninterrupted supply of goods to dispensary locations

Maui Wellness Group, LLC (“Company”) is a regulated enterprise supervised by the Hawai`i Department of Health (“HDOH”) and Department of Public Safety Narcotics Enforcement Division (“NED”).
The Manufacturing Assistant (“MA”) assists the Director of Product Development (“DPD”) in the execution of day-to-day medical cannabis extraction and secondary processing operations at the Company’s Kula Production Centers (“KPC”).
Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting the DPD in the execution of the weekly supercritical carbon dioxide (“CO2E”), cryomechanical (“CME”), microwave-assisted (“MAE”), and ultrasonic (“UAE”) extraction orders. Specific duties include:
- Organizing batches of inventory designated for extraction;
- Bucking and milling biomass in preparation for extraction;
- Packing & evacuating CO2E vessels;
- Executing service cycles and other routine extraction system maintenance protocols;
- Regularly cleaning and organizing the CO2E room to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and equipment operating conditions are maintained;
- Packing micron bags with biomass designated for CME;
- Logging inventory tracking data and extraction yields;
- Other tasks as may be assigned by the DPD.
Assisting the DPD in the execution of day-to-day secondary processing operations. Specific duties include:
- Ensuring stocks of anhydrous ethanol, glassware and other materials required to sustain uninterrupted secondary processing operations are consistently maintained;
- Regularly cleaning and servicing the rotary evaporators, vacuum distillation systems and other equipment systems used for secondary processing;
- Regularly cleaning and organizing laboratory glassware, stainless steel product handling implements, and other laboratory equipment;
- Regularly sweeping and mopping the secondary processing and final product formulation laboratories;
- Preparing batches of medical cannabis-infused edible products;
- Other tasks as may be assigned by the DPD.

Overview of Position
Maui Wellness Group, LLC (“Company”) is a regulated enterprise supervised by the Hawai`i Department of Health (“HDOH”) and Department of Public Safety Narcotics Enforcement Division (“NED”). This position is subject to strict regulatory compliance and government oversight.
The Operations & Maintenance Technician (OMT) provides the Company with a knowledgeable, multi-skilled teammate to ensure safe, continuous, high-performance operations of the Company’s electrical, mechanical and environmental equipment and systems. The OMT’s primary work location is the Company’s Kula Production Center (KPC) with travel to Company’s retail locations, as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance Responsibilities
The OMT bears direct responsibility for the execution of all O&M activities at KPC in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards and the instructions in the KPC O&M Manual as amended periodically by the KPC General Contractor, Maui Builders, Inc (MBI).
General duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintenance and upkeep work specified in the Company’s Solar Energy Services Agreements (SESA), including but not limited to solar array cleaning and grounds upkeep; generator set upkeep & rust inhibition; PV inverter cleaning; and the general maintenance of a clean, safe and well organized electrical, mechanical & environmental infrastructure in and around the KPC facility;
- Determines O&M work procedures; prepares time, cost and material estimates in collaboration with purchasing agent on an as needed basis;
- Carries out HVAC Systems O&M, including servicing mini-splits, central AC system, and ventilation systems; inspects, cleans and replaces HEPA filters, as needed;
- Carries out Hydrology System O&M, including servicing condensate water filters & drains, cleaning & maintaining greenhouse drainage systems;
- Performs semi-skilled trades work, including painting, vinyl flooring installation and repair, and basic carpentry;
- Assists as needed in composting operations;
- Carries out regular perimeter fencing and compost area fencing O&M;
- Carries out regular maintenance of the KPC access road to ensure standards required by the Maui Fire Department (MFD) and the Maui Police Department (MPD) are maintained;
- Carries out roadway sprinkler system, parking lot & dust management system O&M;
- Carries out regular O&M of greenhouse fans, belts, lighting bars, tables, electrical cords, etc
- Recommends and implements preventative measures relating to external lighting, landscaping and other general systems throughout the facility;
- Carries out regular upkeep of water-based fire suppression systems;
- Ensures active construction or other work areas are clearly marked and do not present hazards;
- Carries out security systems O&M work as specified in the KPC O&M Manual, including version control and compliant operation of:
- Access Control: Carries out regular O&M on facility locks, panel interface module, and other ACM devices; carries out monthly inspection and battery changes on Schalge locks;
- AV Surveillance: Carries out Avigilon Control Center O&M – including regular IP camera and microphone inspection, cleaning and desiccation pack replacements);
- Additional duties as may be required to sustain production operations, including assisting other departments with planting, harvesting & processing of medical cannabis biomass.

Overview of Position

- Breakdown flowers off of stem and stalk of plant in order to separate unusable waste from useable product
- Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch.
- After breakdown of plant, employee must identify and separate fan leaves, stems and sugar leaves on the flower.
- Candidate must account for each by-product type processed off the flower (i.e. adding stems and fan leaves to “waste” for proper tracking).
- Candidate must manicure flower according to Company quality standards; each manicured batch must pass quality inspection by supervisor

- May be responsible for weighing and packing manicured flower for final sale according to Company standards and procedures

Overview of Position:
This position’s primary functions include maintaining the day-to-day financial records of the company while providing daily administrative support including a variety of office related tasks. This position operates under the direct supervision of, and alongside, the Chief Financial Officer.
