Overview of Position

The Security Officer monitors the Kula facility parking lot as well as the entrance and departure of members, staff, vendors, contractors, visitors, and any other persons in and out of the production center to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. This position reports to the Security & Facilities Manager. The successful candidate will possess a clean background check, attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule and willingness to assist with other duties as necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Security Officer is to monitor access in and out of the Kula production facility by constant surveillance of the parking lot and the facility, helping production staff control access to the facility in accordance with State Rules and Regulations by following a strict check-in process, and actively monitoring physical security around the site.

This position may also perform other duties related to the successful operation of the Company as requested by the Security & Facilities Manager.

Operational Duties

  • Patrol Kula Production Facility parking lot and entrance with a keen level of attention to detail especially during times of high activity
  • Assist production staff with controlling access to facility by ID examination and verification
  • Assist dispensary staff in maintaining access logs of all visitors in compliance with state rules and regulations
  • Conduct routine patrols and inspections of Kula Production facility and grounds
  • Monitor video surveillance system when requested
  • In the event of emergency, secure staff, visitors, and building; act as liaison with local police or law enforcement
  • Maintain daily written and/or electronic tracking sheets, noting all activity on premises
  • Escort staff members or others between vehicles and building as requested
  • Assist with additional tasks and duties in other locations as assigned by the SSL Manager
  • Document any incidents, accidents, and report them to the SSL Manager

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Work Experience Required

  • 2+ years’ experience in private or public security, law enforcement, or other governmental security agencies
  • Work history showing progressive responsibility, willingness to accept additional projects or challenges

Required Knowledge

Knowledge of computer & office equipment and programs (Word; Excel; office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems)

Ability to follow specific directions and instructions

Overview of Position

The Sales Associate is the welcoming face of Maui Grown Therapies Patients. The successful candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, constant desire for self-improvement, and attention to details. This entry-level, non-management position offers the opportunity to learn and grow with the Company from the ground up, and to take on increasing levels of responsibility over time.

Duties and Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the Sales Associate include interacting with and educating members face-to-face and by phone; record-keeping; assisting with inventory and cash management; and helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility inside and out.

  • Greets Patients in person or on the phone; schedules appointments; assists with Patient intake and renewal procedures
  • Maintains Patient records in compliance with State law and Company policy
  • Answers questions about the law and the Company from Patients and others
  • Assists Patients in selecting products; educates them about safe dosage and other aspects of medical cannabis
  • Assists Dispensary Manager with inventory and cash management, daily and weekly
  • Maintains a clean, safe, welcoming environment inside and outside the facility
  • Other duties may be assigned by the Dispensary Manager according to Company needs

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

2 years post-secondary education in a related field preferred

Work Experience Required

2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced client-service intensive industry – hospitality and retail backgrounds preferred

Work history showing progressive responsibility, willingness to accept, lead, and complete additional projects or challenges

Required Knowledge

Computer & equipment operations necessary for running an office/retail center (POS systems; Word; Excel; office equipment such as copiers/telephone systems)

Thorough understanding of Hawaii state law governing medical cannabis

Arithmetic necessary for basic inventory and cash management

Familiarity with history and varieties of medical cannabis preferred but not required

Overview of Position

The ECM is responsible for the daily production and continuous refinement of MGT’s e-commerce and social media platforms, including execution of MGT’s promotional programming across the Company’s digital channels; and 2) integration of the Company’s streaming media, advertising and special events programs to increase awareness among prospective patients, motivate patient registrations/renewals, and enhance patient engagement and loyalty.
As a member of the Retail Operations team, the ECM will work closely with the Company’s leaders and contractors in product management, production, design and external affairs to translate vision and goals into high quality, engaging, revenue-driving online programs consistent the Company’s brand standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

The ECM is responsible for developing and administering the Company’s public facing digital media channels to facilitate patient education, product selection and purchasing in a safe and trusted online environment. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Management of the Company’s e-commerce sites to ensure accurate product descriptions, images, pricing, promotional codes, embedded links, and aesthetics are current and are faithful to the Company’s brand promise
• Develop and execute high-quality, dynamic, and responsive email campaigns using the Mail Chimp platform
• Manage the Company’s social media content calendar and coordinate the e-mail release countdowns with all relevant stakeholders
• Implement, monitor, analyze, A/B test and report campaign performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Create quality content that works across different browsers, devices and email programs in accordance with established email campaign deployment principles
• Manage and update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data and analytics, and promptly share results and recommendations with team mates on the Company’s dashboards
• Ensure data integrity through ongoing database cleansing and list segmentation
• Audit the Company’s online presence to ensure embedded links are active, content is current, and response times promote active engagement
• Collect and review KPI data and continuously seek opportunities for improvement

Qualifications
Work Experience Required

• Minimum of three years of work history demonstrating proficiency in daily B2C e-commerce program execution and management, including hands on experience in search engine marketing (SEM) and Google Analytics.
• Proven experience purchasing, placing and tracking social media content on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter
• Minimum of one year experience using Adobe Illustrator
• Prior experience in a work setting requiring high levels of customer data and trade secret protection preferred.

Additional Preferred Requirements:

• BS or BA degree in marketing, advertising, business or related field; and/or,
• Five+ years of practical experience in digital marketing.

• Proven expertise in effectively using the Mailchimp email platform. Graphic design experience is a plus.

Overview of Position

Maui Wellness Group, LLC (“Company”) is a regulated enterprise supervised by the Hawai`i Department of Health (“HDOH”) and Department of Public Safety Narcotics Enforcement Division (“NED”).  This position is subject to strict regulatory compliance and government oversight.

The Operations & Maintenance Technician (OMT) provides the Company with a knowledgeable, multi-skilled teammate to ensure safe, continuous, high-performance operations of the Company’s electrical, mechanical and environmental equipment and systems. The OMT’s primary primary work location is the Company’s Kula Production Center (KPC) with travel to Company’s retail locations, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operations and Maintenance Responsibilities

The OMT bears direct responsibility for the execution of all O&M activities at KPC in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards and the instructions in the KPC O&M Manual as amended from time to time by the KPC General Contractor, Maui Builders, Inc (MBI).

  • General duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Maintenance and upkeep work specified in the Company’s Solar Energy Services Agreements (SESA), including but not limited to solar array cleaning and grounds upkeep, generator set upkeep & rust inhibition, battery pack upkeep & cabinet maintenance, PV invertor cleaning and the general maintenance of a clean, safe and well organized electrical, mechanical & environmental infrastructure in and around the KPC facility;
    • Coordination and management of contractors, County officials, SESA owners, lessor (landlord) and other parties engaged in the construction, inspection, leasing, servicing and financing of the micro grid;
    • HVAC Systems O&M (mini-splits, central AC system, and ventilation systems); including inspecting, cleaning and replacing HEPA filters, as needed;
    • Water Systems O&M (including condensate water filters, condensate drains, PC-LT drains, distribution network inspection, and repair);
    • Composting operations;
    • Perimeter fencing and compost area fencing O&M;
  • Upkeep of the Kula PC access road to the standards required by the Maui Fire Department (MFD) and the Maui Police Department (MPD);
  • Regular inspection and upkeep of the Company’s waterless fire suppression and emergency systems to ensure system readiness and first responder alerts;
  • Water truck O&M and dousing of roadways, parking lots and base yard for compaction and dust control;
  • Regular upkeep of water-based fire suppression systems & ensure active work areas are clearly marked and do not present hazards;
  • Participate in periodic staff training and emergency drills to ensure the Company’s safety and security SOPs are rigorously practiced by all employees.
  • Security systems duties. O&M as specified in the KPC O&M Manual, including version control and compliant operation of:
    • Access control. Schlage locks, panel interface module, and other ACM devices;
    • AV surveillance. Avigilon Control Center O&M –  including regular IP camera and microphone inspection, cleaning and desiccation pack replacements);
  • Automation and Monitoring Systems duties. O&M and version control of the Vantage, eGauge, Fronius and Tesla monitoring systems.

  • Prior experience in construction project coordination and management.
  • Prior experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment.
